Floundering vortex of events

While waiting on the stairs, in search of an embrace, a vortex formed.

Scientists are puzzled how such an event could occur, and have speculated about the possibility of outside forces like a gusty southeasterly wind or flying vinyl penguins to be the cause of such a peculiar situation. The sole observer could only confirm that the vortex was caused by “unmet expectations and floundering affection.”
